Lynn Kear, Ph.D., a film scholar and award-winning writer, has written books on topics ranging from reincarnation to Agnes Moorehead. Dr. Kear has finished a stage play based on the life of Kay Francis and is now working on a series of novels that take place in 1930s Hollywood. Kay Francis was always his favorite star on the Silver Screen, and the opportunity to read her diaries was an extraordinary and unforgettable experience. He previously co-edited Old Trolley Postcards for Dover Publications and has contributed photographs for a number of transportation histories.
